Health Professions Linkage Agreements
Agnes Scott’s post-bacc and graduate students who meet specific eligibility requirements can be a year closer to reaching their goal through our medical, physician assistant, and pharmaceutical school linkage programs.
Students within eligible post-bacc and master’s programs at Agnes Scott who are admitted to one of our linkage programs can enroll into the corresponding professional school upon completion of their program at Agnes Scott.
Students with strong academic qualifications upon entering one of our eligible programs at Agnes Scott, who continue to succeed academically in their program and in their volunteer placements while enrolled, may apply for a specific linkage program based on their overall interests.
Acceptance to a professional school through one of our linkage or pathway programs is determined by the corresponding school and is contingent upon individual school requirements and continued academic achievement.
Your health professions advisor at Agnes Scott will guide you through the process and let you know if you are eligible to apply at the appropriate time during your post-bacc or master’s program.
Important facts about linkage programs:
- Eligible students can only apply to one linkage while in their program at Agnes Scott.
- If eligible to apply and accepted into a linkage program, students are required to commit to enrolling in that program.
- The number of students participating in a linkage program varies from year to year, and depends on the individual schools admission requirements in a given year.
- Eligibility to participate in applying for a linkage are contingent upon strong undergraduate coursework and your coursework at Agnes Scott. Some linkage or pathway programs require final test scores to be considered for admission to the school.
- Minimum GPA, prerequisite requirements and testing requirements are set by each professional school for a given year. Refer to the admission requirements for your school of choice to determine your eligibility.
- Additional courses might be necessary for some students. Each student should ensure they have met program requirements prior to applying for the linkage.

Qualified students who are currently enrolled in one our Post-Baccalaureate or Medical Sciences master's programs listed below are guaranteed an interview for admission consideration into our Cornwall Hawkes PA Program*, with the possibility of reaching their goal of becoming a physician assistant.

*黑料大事记 has applied for Accreditation - Provisional from the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). 黑料大事记's Mary Lou Cornwall Hawkes '65 and James B. Hawkes Physician Assistant Program anticipates matriculating its first class in October 2026, pending achieving Accreditation - Provisional status at the July 2026 ARC-PA meeting. Accreditation - Provisional is an accreditation status granted when the plans and resource allocation, if fully implemented as planned, of a proposed program that has not yet enrolled students appear to demonstrate the program’s ability to meet the ARC-PA Standards or when a program holding accreditation- provisional status appears to demonstrate continued progress in complying with the Standards as it prepares for the graduation of the first class (cohort) of students.
Qualified students within our participating post-bacc programs who meet specific requirements (as determined by MUSM) are eligible to apply into the MUSM linkage program listed below at the end of their summer semester.

Eligible students who meet the academic qualifications for admission as determined by MUSM must also be residents of Georgia for at least 1 year and be willing to practice primary care in rural or underserved Georgia.
*Please note: Agnes Scott students are not guaranteed admission into this linkage program. Students who meet MUSM's admission requirements are allowed to apply, and candidates are selected by the MUSM admission committee just as in a regular medical school application cycle.
Qualified students enrolled in our participating post-bacc or master’s program listed below who meet specific requirements are eligible to apply into the MSM linkage program at the end of their fall semester.

Eligible students who meet the academic qualifications for admission as determined by MSM must also be committed to medicine, Georgia, and serving underserved populations.
*Please note:
- Agnes Scott post-bacc and graduate students are not guaranteed admission into this linkage program.
- Students who meet the qualification requirements listed above are allowed to apply for the linkage.
- Candidates are reviewed by the MSM admission committee just as in a regular medical school application cycle.
Qualified students enrolled in our participating post-bacc or master’s programs listed below pursuing osteopathic medicine, who meet specific requirements as defined by Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine Georgia (PCOM), are eligible to apply into the PCOM Georgia Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) linkage program.

Eligible students who meet the academic qualifications for admission as determined by PCOM must also be committed to practicing osteopathic medicine.

- Students who meet the qualification requirements listed above are allowed to apply for the linkage.
- Candidates are selected by the PCOM Georgia admission committee just as in a regular D.O. school application cycle.
Qualified students enrolled in our participating post-bacc or master's programs listed below who meet specific requirements are eligible to apply into the Presbyterian College School of Pharmacy (PCSP) linkage program.

Please note: Agnes Scott post-bacc and graduate students are not guaranteed admission into this linkage program. Students who meet PCSP's admission requirements may apply, and candidates are selected by the PCSP admission committee, just as in a regular school application cycle.
Students enrolled in our participating post-bacc or master's programs who meet specific qualifications are invited to apply into New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine (Jonesboro, Arkansas campus).
