Access digital tools and develop your technological skills at the Center for Digital and Visual Literacy (CDVL).
Powered by the Digital Proficiencies at Agnes Scott college, the CDVL assists students, faculty
and staff learn new technologies and programs and integrate them into their work.
Located on the terrace level of McCain Library, the CDVL holds a computer lab open for campus
use, a tutoring office for side-by-side peer learning support and an audio/video production
studio complete with green screen.
Our iMac computers come equipped with:
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Audacity for audio editing
- Apple iLife (iMovie, GarageBand, Photo)
- DaVinci Resolve for video editing
- And more
professional development. Our Peer Learning Assistants are here to help you explore new tools
and approaches to your projects.
The CDVL PLAs also manage the on-campus CISAW (Creative Innovation Studio and Workroom)
Makerspace, where you can find tools and resources for all methods of Design Thinking.
Center for Digital and Visual Literacy Spaces
- McCain G11 (digital creator space and classroom) is equipped with 25 student iMac
computers and one instructor station. - McCain G43 is the Tutoring Office where students can hold one-on-one peer tutoring
appointments on a variety of subjects. - McCain G45 is the Flex Studio for photography, audio and video recording. It includes
several backgrounds and a green screen. You can reserve the studio via the McCain
Library reservation system. - Alston Ground Floor holds the CISAW Makerspace which is equipped with materials and
tools for fiber arts, 3D modeling/printing, drawing and painting, and more.
